My name is Ornald “Shine” Greene from the beautiful island of Mangrove Cay, Andros. In the early 2000's after taking out a couple on a fishing trip, I noticed that the wife had a book in her hand and every time we would stop to a flat to fish, she would look through her book and put a tick. Me being so inquisitive, I asked her what it was she was observing, and she said it was the birds. She explained to me some of the different species of birds and it piqued my interest even more. I've always had a love for Nature but ever since that trip I would always look to see how many different species of bird I can see. When she went back home, she sent me a book by the name of “The Sibley: Field Guide to Birds of Eastern North America,” so I started getting into birding more deeply. After learning that BAMSI was offering a Nature Tour Course, I jumped at the opportunity and now I’m a Certified Tour Guide.
